Genevieve Henry
Principal Designer
My name is Genevieve Henry, though most know me as Hadie. I was born and raised in the Ozarks of Southern Missouri, where I cultivated an appreciation for the richness of life—finding inspiration in diverse experiences, whether cooking for friends, exploring thrift stores, traveling, or pursuing my passion for Architecture and Design. I firmly believe that thoughtful design and meaningful connections have the power to shape the world for the better.
My academic journey began at Drury University in 2010, leading to my graduation from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2014 with a focus on Interior Architecture and Historic Preservation. My professional experience spans hospitality, construction, and project management, all of which have refined my skills in meticulous planning and client service. With Frisco + Fin, a design studio named after my beloved dogs, Frisco (“Tater”) and Finley, I am dedicated to creating intentional, enduring spaces for my clients.
I currently serve on the Springfield Landmarks Board and the Rountree Council for Preservation, where I work to protect and celebrate the history and character of our community.
Growing up with a cabinetmaker father and a businesswoman mother, I was immersed in the worlds of craftsmanship and leadership from an early age. This foundation instilled in me the importance of hard work, adaptability, and a collaborative approach—values that continue to guide my work and relationships today.
